I used some laser time today to run some tests on the sample “fancy” wood I received from Memphis Hardwood. Above you can see Wheat, Stone, and Sheep printed on Yellowheart, Walnut, and Curly Maple. I’m also experimenting with a 600dpi setting to speed things along.
I absolutely love how these woods look. Though the yellowheart is a bit thick to cut, and will require more raster testing, I’m just as excited playing around with this experiment as I was when I first started cutting designs out of birch many months ago.
