On Point

There was some scrap MDF lying around at TechShop last night, and I had some time to kill, so I thought I'd try an idea out. "We'll do it live!", as the saying goes.

This is a point counter.  Not really relevant for Settlers of Catan, but there are lots of board games I play where one needs to keep track of "points" or "health" or "turns", etc. This is usually accomplished by placing a token on a printed part of the board, or by giving each player a pile of tokens. This point counter solves the problem in a way that the small pieces don't slide around and are less likely to get lost.  There is a subtle tension built in that keeps each marker in place.
